How many underwear should I own?

You can laugh about it but I’m sure you would have asked this question once in your lifetime. Sure, you may not remember your reasons, and I doubt you wrote down the logic to derive an answer as I did.

However, I know you have a couple of men’s fashion underwear and you had your own reasons for buying those respective pieces. I bet you weighed the benefit of having some minimum number versus the constraint of your closet space and the cost of buying more in number. Hence, you came to a conclusion just like I did when I did the calculation.

A foundation of a good wardrobe starts with a your men’s intimate wear and if you really want to know that how many should you own, this blog would let you know just how many pairs do you need.

The goal

The goal for any man should be to have ample number of men’s underwear styles to sustain the entire week without even repeating a pair of brief twice. Without counting the number of the pairs you own you should have enough pairs to survive the times when you are not and not doing the laundry or any other.

The logic

Just like I mentioned about the needs, I really think that 7 pairs for the entire week is a must have and is the bare minimum number. If you have lesser than the seven pairs,it would lead to either you cleaning your unmentionables frequently or wearing the same bikini underwear two days in a row or more than that depending on how many clean pairs do you have.

However, keeping in mind the times you are not well and you weren’t able to do the laundry, you need to have at least 5-7 more to stay on the safer spot.

If you go by that logic, you need to have about 14-15 pairs in stock. I don’t say that a single style would be your ideal pair but, make sure you have a couple of style supporting you on the different occasions that come with your lifestyle. You must have thong underwear for men as your date companions, jockstrap underwear for workouts and so many more. A stock of about the number or more than that would be your ideal companion on a day-to-day basis.
